Hello question. I just bought a new been running for 5 days. I have question so it came with some valve on the air inlet hose that you can adjust the air intake when i give it less air the bubbles are more slow at bottom of the collection cup. When I don't use it, the bubbles are much faster and pop really rapidly. Do i need to use this restriction. The skimmer sitting in about 8.5-9inch water.

Take the cup off and adjust the bubbles to were the bubbles are at the top of the rim were the cup attaches. The skimmer will take some time tune in. Hope this helps
