Bubble magus curve 5 vs coral box d500

Hey guys, wanting to upgrade my coral life hob skimmer to an in sump one for my 75 gallon tank. Narrowed it down to the two in title. I mostly hear good things about bubble magus but my lfs has coral box in stock and it looked similar.

Any opinions or experience on which should roll with?

I have the Curve5 and love it. Cant say too much on the D500 havent seen one in person, but your right it looks almost identical.

I had the curve 5 on my 75 gallon and I have the d700 on my 120. Overall I actually like the D700 a little more as it is easier to adjust. I ran the curve 5 for about 3 years with no issues that I didn't cause (lack of cleaning...) but I have only had the d700 for a few months now.
