Bubble magus curve 7 elite micro bubble problem

Just finished setting up the new tank build and I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s new or something but micro bubbles are pouring out of the bottom of the skimmer. Any thoughts?

I had the same skimmer never could get it to skim properly so I returned it. I am now using reef octopus IMO better built and greater performance immediately, the bubble magus while looking sleek in appearance just never cut it for me. Too tempermental. For one I found if u turn Knob to left or right eventually total foam column collapses. Also My sump water level can be run higher with REEF OCTO, I Don t like how The Magus is designed. Too finicky,No issue with the reef octopus skimmer. I know this is not what you want to hear but this was My experirence after trying out multiple skimmers for multiple weeks. We just found the reef octo more reliable and immediate skim with little aggravation. Just my honest review. Good luck.

Did you ever resolve this issue? I have the same skimmer on my new build (going on week 3) and the micro bubbles have not improved one bit. I’ve tried varying water levels from 8-10 inches but nothing seems to help. Still getting a bunch of microbubbles coming from the bottom of the skimmer. Also the adjustment nozzle doesn’t seem to do much for me.

Yeah mine runs just fine now
Sitting in 9inches of water and I have the adjustment set to 1.5 and satisfied with it now
