bubble magus curve 7 skimmer ???

im having an issue with it though
has anyone experienced this problem

Yup, thats called excessive nutrients in the system. =). Its doing its job very well.

I put some weight on the lid to see if it will hold it down.ive never had a skimmers foam push the lid

I took my skimmer apart and gave it a cleaning.but have put a part ,not knowing which way it came off...
on the pipe that you adjust the amount of water or foam,there is a clear plastic with a hole in it ,im not sure which way the hole is suppose to point,anyone notice this..
oh and it does matter ,ive tried it different ways and it does make a difference in adjusting.
its on the bottom of the pipe which is the outlet

I have a bubble magus curve 5, and when I put it on Max, it slows the foam and breaks earlier..and when I put it on Min, or 1, it shoots up.

have you looked on the bottom of the adjusting pipe theres a clear plastic piece,this has a lot to do with how the adjustments work

Yea, you're talking about the very bottom of the pipe, where the hole is. It's to control the air input or something. I keep my skimmer on Max and works perfect for me.

do you know which way the hole is pointing

On max it points towards the pump

you actually have to lift the tube out of the socket,it fits inside the pipe
