So this is happening 3 days after I clean it the cup isn’t even a full 1/3 of the way up and the foam is oozing so am I doing something wrong or is my tank a dirty SOB

I vote dirty SOB... or at least something that is causing the skimmer to go bonkers. I have had the same issue, with the same skimmer, when I did something like stirring up the sand bed, or wiping off the way to abundant algae in the glass.
With the color of the skimmate, I would say the skimmer is doing an excellent job of...skimming...

I agree that it's working properly.

Any idea how to get their support team to contact you back? I am missing a rubber foot for mine and have tried a bunch of times to get ahold of them.

If you run it a little more wet it will be less likely to come out the air holes as shown.
