I agree. Looks like this pump has been used. I got four dosers for my group buy and all four the tubes are all even.

No worries. This pump has not been used. That was honestly the way I received it and I didn't even think anything of it until you said something. PM me if still interested. I will guarantee it to be defect free and would happily help you out if you have any problems. Not trying to rip anyone off =]

Thanks!

Uneven tubes and ripped warrenty sticker and sold as brand new?

I can't speak to the sticker, but my unit came sealed in plastic from BRS and the tubes were uneven - only 1 tube was even and the other 2 were uneven (pump 3 was basically completely pulled to one side). That's what you get on a chinese pump. However, my warranty sticker is nice and shiny and no cuts on it. The uneven tubes mean nothing, however that sticker... you definitely need a close up of that.

my new doser that I bought from aquariumspeciality dot com also came with uneven tubes as well.

I'm on the market for one and seen around 5 posted from seller with uneven tube so I think it normal. I seen one even with the tube upside down on one posted. GLWS

how good is that pump? i was looking on getting one. i seen on brs that the tubes come that way

I've only been running it for two days but so far so good. Really easy to setup. I currently have it dosing 10ml/day, once a day (night for alk, morning for Ca). I have a long run of tubing so it is putting out just short of 10ml each time it pumps. I'll be testing over the next few days and just adjust the dosage accordingly.

I had the bracket but was able to just place it where it is in the pic and drill holes through the shelf to get the tubing to where it needs to go.

The only thing I wish it could do was only run during a certain time period (ie dose Alk multiple times only when light are out) so that would be the benefit of getting the BRS dosers plugged into an Apex or any controller. I've seen people with nice SPS tanks using the BM and had no issues dosing throughout the day so I'm sure it will be fine.

Thanks!

can that dosing pump be hook up throw an apex i read some reviews and i seen someone say thay couldent hook it up throw apex?

You can't hook it up in regards to programming it using the OSC function like you can a BRS dosing pump. I have mine hooked up and will probably have it set to shut off if the pH goes above a certain point.
