Bubble magus e5

Hi guys new reefer here from asia
Been in reefing for about a yr now recently installed a protein skimmer for my 5ft aio system and I’m scratching my head on the information of bubble magus e5 as from my side I don’t have much info of it

This is my tank now

The water level in the skimmer suddenly lowered and it sounded like flushing of a toilet and went back to the usual skimming

It kept making a gurgling noise when the water valve is fully opened
