Hi, I'm using the Bubble Magus G5 skimmer and it's doing a fantastic job, however I'm wondering if I can replace the pump on it to one which is both DC and has a controller so I can change the pump power and put it on a feed mode.
Bubble Magus don't make one of these for the G5, so it'll have to be a different brand. The current pump that is in the skimmer is the stock one - SP1000 and has an air intake of 300L/hr. There are many replacements that I've seen but I would like anyone's opinion and insight into whether a different branded one can be used with this skimmer.
