Bubble Magus NAC 7 Skimmer. Experience?

Just grabbed this used after being wet for a year. Got a great deal on it.

Just wanna sniff out known issues, flaws, defects, or things to look out for in the future.

Are the BM pumps known to fail?

Really no issues. Using this on a custom 55g and it's working just fine - in fact it might be a bit too strong for such a small tank. I do clean it every six months though, take it out, disassemble, clean the pump...

No issues with that skimmer, people use them on a 120 gallon tank with no problems.

Mine is a 125g. 155g with sump volume included. Perfect.

Are the BM pumps known to fail?

Not the pump itself, but I did loose an impeller and it runs a bit louder than Sicce sometimes. Easy to get a replacement.
