After doing a water change and skimmer cleaning last night one of my Bubble Magus Nac77 Atman pumps will not run properly now. It will run for around 10 minutes then stop for about 5-10 minute and start back up. I have pulled the pump apart and cleaned everything in it and verified nothing is obstructing the impeller, I even swapped it to a different outlet to make sure it was not a short there....nothing.
I'm done fighting with this pump and need to order two replacement pumps but don't want to go for the stock ones. I see there is an upgrade kit for my skimmer that replaces the two Atman PH2500 pumps for two Aquabee (Rock) SP2000 pumps but I can't find much info on these pumps. Does anyone have any information on the reliability, noise level and performace of the Aquabee SP2000 pumps? I was thinking of buying two Sicce PSK1000's that would fit but are nearly double the price for two.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
