hey all!
I found a little bubble on the mouth of my rock men but then he ate it. Thankfully I got pics as well as a pic of my over friendly wrasse hahaha

I love your wrasse. That's weird with the nem. I'd say that was part of his stomach that he spit out a little then sucked back in, but really I just don't know. Let's call in back up! #reefsquad

Thank you! Its a mystery wrasse, hes my buddy lol Thats the tank right by my bed. He hovers when he wants fed lol
I was wondering if it was part of his stomach but....I cant find anything about rock nems doing that. Regular nems are like stringy when they do it.
Its odd because its a perfect sphere. It went out/in probably 3 times.

That is normal. They will swell their lips and innards like that from time to time. It usually occurs when they are either stressed or eating something. If your rock nem hasn't moved, its probably just eating some bug it caught. I have around 30 rock nems so this is pretty normal to see.

interesting.
Ive got 4 adults and thought maybe it had something to do with the spawning process. Ive never seen them spawn but I have babies in there lol
It for sure wasnt lips so I assume it was innards. It was just weird because it was a perfect sphere.
