Hi All, I have a BTA that when I got it from the LFS it was white with green tips, I have a 60 gallon tank that has been setup for about a year now with a goby, lamarks angel (2in), a six line wrasse, and a maroon clown, and a cleaner shrimp and about 30 snails and . I use an RODI for my water changes and I do a 5g water change each week, I recently had a problem with GHA but is getting under control now that I put a bigger skimmer on my tank rated for a 200g system. I have lots of LPS and soft corals and all are doing fine and growing. I do not know what my parameters are and m LFS only tests PH...(sucks) but I use and RODI, and I use red sea coral pro salt. all my fish and corals are healthy. when I put the anemone in my tank (going on 3 weeks ago) it just hid under all the rocks and doesn't seem to get any light or eat. yesterday I flipped over the rock it was under to see it and it does not look good, almost completely transparent, not sticky and not eating, the body and foot looked very swollen. does anyone have any suggestions on how to help it recover..? what about putting it in a acrylic box inside the tank with holes so it can get some water movement, I can attach it to the inside of the tank and adjust the amount on light it actually gets, this way I can monitor it better. and give it more TLC.. thoughts?
