Had my Bubble Tip for about a year and a half now and so far it has stayed 100% on the rock it went into the tank on. Never moved even a centimeter. The last 3 days it has done laps around the tank (75 gallon.). Just from one side to the other and back.

I know they move so I assume this is ok? Any reason they start to move around?

looking for a happier place. They will move like that from time to time.

To get better flow and food. They are awsome because we guess what a coral likes but a bubble tip just does it itself no guessing game.

salt2salt hit the hammer on the nail! Probably just wanting to find greener grass. As long as it isn't harming other corals you should be fine :)

Great nem btw.. I can never get mine to bubble up like that and is more a maroon/brown tip color than your sharp pink. Whats ur secret? (Light?flow?feed?)

I have a 75 with an 20 gal sump. Normal flow 2 MP 40's. 2x AI Hydra 32's. I feed 1 or 2 cubes of frozen a day mostly for the fish I had not target fed the BTA for at least a year and it stayed looking like that. I recently maybe 3 months started once a week target feeding the BTA with a mid size shrimp chunk and he takes it right in asap.

Other than that he has been hands off he sat in the same spot for over a year just like that.
