I am looking into purchasing a BTA for my clownfish but has some questions I am hoping people can answer. When you guys get your BTA do you dip them before putting in tank or just put in as is? Also when handling BTA do you wear gloves or just handle it bare handed. Also if you use gloves what kind of gloves do you use.

I cant say what should be done only the way I did.
You want one fully inflated closed mouth and good color. Really inspect the foot.

I slowly acclimate than rinsed with tank water and i put in the tank. I did it bare hands

I wouldn't dip a nem. Have handled them 3 times with bare hands and no issue but your experience may differ, I'd wear gloves just to make sure although BTAs don't sting as much as other nems.
