Bubble tip anemone split and on the move

Last night he was settled in the stalk of my frogspawn. I prodded him gently for about 20 minutes with a piece of plastic. He moved, but now he's still close to the frogspawn but touching my candy cane.

Will my frogspawn or candy cane die?

Any suggestions on what to do?

Not sure how young the split is for your BTA, but from my experience if you can catch the split on the move prior to it finding a spot. Your odds will better of atleast moving it somewhere you’d prefer it to be. *Keeping in mind they’re always moving until they’re extremely happy with their spot.

I think I'll just move the candy cane and frogspawn until this guy settles in
