i got a new BTA, put it in the tank and it hasn’t moved in about 4 days. it’s tentacles are very small like little balls. at night it extends its tentacles so i feel it may be a light related problem. what do you think

It looks healthy. The fact that it hasn't moved is a good sign. You can try lowering the light by 10% and see how it react. It may also be the cleaner shrimp that is bugging it. With that said, give it time to adjust to your tank.

:DI have a Sherman that was under leds that were about 40% and bubbling. Picked him up for a great price and added him to the bottom third of my 8 bulb t5 tank. Within three days it was at the top of the rockwork getting blasted with light. It hasn’t bubbled sinde it left the lfs :D

Looks great, mine can't figure out what they want to do. Sometimes they're stringy other times bubbled. Food doesn't seem to make much of a difference so I got nothing.

I have struggled for a year to get mine to bubble, now this last week they are so bubbled they look like they are about to pop! No changes in the tank apart from change of food. Before I fed them smelt and white fish, this week I've been feeding prawns and they are all bubbled. Cant complain. Never liked the long thin tenticles!

It may be a case of lower light intensity; it is expanding larger than normal to maximize surface area to increase the amount of light being absorbed. It is also at the top of your rock structure which would make me believe the same. Corals/anemones close up when they receive too much light but open up larger than typical when they arent receiving enough. Additionally, if something was bugging it, the anemone would close up so that doesnt appear to be a factor.
