Hi Y’all, I recently added a Green bubble tip anemone to my tank, and I am afraid that he may have torn his foot while being moved. Does this look like a torn foot or something else? Any recommendations on treating something like this?

Splitting?

In my opinion it looks torn. In this case I would take the nem out and use a razor blade to cut it in half directly down the middle of the mouth in such a way that the torn part is completely on one half. Then the one half can heal fast and possibly the other heals if it does.

BTAs in general are hardy and they actually deal with injuries quite well. Aside from the torn foot it looks healthy. I wouldn't risk stressing it by moving it or cutting it (there's definitely no need to do this).
