My new bubble tip went behind the rocks and is out of the light. What should I do?? I'm worried he won't get enough light and die.

I would give it a couple days to return to an area of more intense lighting. A healthy anemone will find what it needs with relation to flow and lighting. The anemone is not going to die from lack of lighting over the course of a couple of days to a week.

Oh ok so when should I start worrying? Is there anything I can do to entice it to come out?

Sometime directing the flow at them will make them get up and move. If the anemone is still inflating normally I would give it roughly five days.

How long have you had it? I ask because i got a rainbow bta and it looked like it was close to splitting at the LFS. Had him in my tank for a little over a week then came home and he was hiding in the shadows with no light for about 3-4 days. Then one morning i woke up to two sitting on my rock waiting for the lights to turn on.

And i have heard from others that have had bta that when they first out them in they moved around for a week or two. Just trying to find the right spot for light and flow.

Do what will make you happy.

It's been in the shadows for about 5 days. 2 days ago he spread his tentacles out and got a little bit of flesh out into the light. But today he's still scrunched up a little. I'm feeding reef energy and I hope that helps a lil. Is 5 days too long? Should I be worried?

If possible turn the rock so it faces the front. You bought an Anemone you should be able to see it. In my opinion 5 days it not too long. If possible put up an image.

Same. I dont think 5 days would be to long. Agree you should be able to see it. But i would not worry about it. If you tank lvls are good then it will be fine. I had one i got before i should have and it disappeared on me. And 6 months later when i was redoing my filter system i found it down there. Lol.

My levels are perfect and I have plenty of lighting (kessil a350w).
