Bubble tip anemone will move right?

Just put my first bubbletip in and as i was placing him on a rock he got taken by the current and swooped under another rock- its a tiny one like 1.5inch. He will find his way out and to a comfortable spot right?

Yes, it’s normal for anemones to move. It will find a comfortable spot and stay there until they are unhappy again. They love high par and good amount of flow.

Not always. Sometimes they are stubborn and rather die in a hole than move. If I were you, I would turn off any powerhead in the tank in case it decides to move and float around. The worst thing is nem going into powerhead.

Should i move the rock or just wait it out til tomorrow and see if it moved? I can see the tips of its tenticles so I assume it can sense the light

Never go in after it. The foot could be attached to 2 rocks and you'll end up tearing it. Its hiding due to stress. Most likely due to a new environment but also could be parameters, lighting, flow, or age of tank if problems persist.

Allow it to come back out- dont chase it
Too much flow and too little light are reasons they move. Too little flow and they climb and often end up in power heads and too little light, they again travel towards the light
Best to introduce in low flow allowing them to establish then adjust flow to desired rate

Seems happy so far. Moved out a little. The foot is in the crack with the tentacles out.
