Bubble tip anemone with sand inside of it - HELP

Help, I am not sure if it’s oky! But my anemone has sand on him. I have 2 neon damselfish that periodically make holes and dig to make their homes. Would it be a good idea to move him? Will it naturally be able to get the sand out of himself, or will he have trouble? I am wondering if I can try to brush off some of the sand out of him, but I don’t want to risk any damage. Please reply soon!

How much sand are we talking piles or just a little? I have a sand sifting go IW and he puts sand every where never hurt my nems.

My anemone just has a little sand in him but I don’t want him to swallow it or something. He has been trying to extend and lean over to drop off the sand but it won’t budge. Should I try to brush it off? I am thinking that if I do that, he is going to close up so I don’t think it will be any use.

Use a turkey baster to remove the sand. I use it to blast detritus and sand that collects on the rocks before a WC. For something like sand on a coral or in your case on the anemone just a light squeeze will remove the sand. I wouldn't worry about it though I'm sure the nem will clear the sand off on it's own anyway.

It will be perfectly fine with no intervention on your part whatsoever. In fact, you could make things worse by trying to "fix" things. If it isn't happy where it is, it will move. That's what anemones do. Any sand in or on it will be expelled without issue.

You can blow it off, place power head at an angle to prevent settling of sand or it will on its' own, remove the sand but slowly
