Tested water, everything is fine. Purchased a new light weeks ago and thought it was coming back. Has this webbing coming off it now. Any ideas? Not sure if it’s ok

Kinda looks bleached out (lost it's zooxanthellae) from the above picture.

I'd pull it out of your reef if it's breaking down.

The web like stuff is most likely it expelling its zooxanthellae. What are your parameters? How old is the tank? What light are you using? How big is your tank? What else is in your tank?

Parameters are all fine. Tank year old. 2 clowns goby cleaner crew. 20 gallon long. Light is below. I was using a lesser light but was told on here to get a better light and that recovery could take some time.

You can try a black box led light if you are on a budget, it is around 100 bucks that can grow anemones, lps and sps corals. That’s what I did with mine, my rose BTA and corals are doing well.

The good news is that it's still attached to the rock so there is a chance it can turn around. When I lost my first nem ( i didnt have enough light) it let go of the rock and just acted like a tumbleweed across my tank.

Really called black box?

He’s moved a lot since we got the light. Before that he just sat in one place.

What light are we talking? Just got this one...
Unfortunately you fell into the light trap. There are a few lights out there from reputable dealers saying they support corals when in fact they do not. Yours unfortunately falls into that category. It might support softies and a strong maybe of some lps. Anemones fall into the lps/sps category. Your light prolly only has .5 watt leds. They should be at least 3 watt to be an effective reef light. I use viparspectra for my 40b. I love it. I got the 300w edition which is more than what you need but mine was only $200. You can get the 165w for less

Yep, you can check out Mars Aqua or ViparSpectra on Amazon. These are the popular brands for black box. My tank is 29g long and my Mars Aqua 165W is enough for mine.

Viparspectra
Mars aqua
These are the most popular.
I like the viparspectra because they turn on and off by themselves and you can set different channels
Haha we gave the same answer for the brands. :p

What are your EXACT parameters? What do you define as perfect? Sorry if I'm railing you but all to often I hear "params are perfect" and the person asking for help hasn't posted anything but "params are perfect". Post your #s for SG, ALK, CAL, Phos, Nitrates, MAG, & temp!

Can’t use as it sits directly under my TV and hanging those boxes will be right in the way of the screen.
Oh I see, I hope you can find something good enough for your anemone.
