Okay so I have a weird issue I can keep all types of corals soft, SPS, hammers, and ext no problems I also have 2 rock flower nems and fish inverbrets and everything no problem.
My tank is very consistent I do no water changes and have a skimmer refugee Neptune trident set up and a heater that makes sure my tank doesn't flux more than 0.5 a day. So the only issue I could imagine with my tank would it being 6 months but anyways I have bought two btas on seprate occasion completely different stores and times and every time I do they look super healthy for a few days then after that they just look like mush not that there dead but its been over 3 months for one and 1 month for the other and it still looks crappy what could be the cause?

Could possibly be like you stated only 6 months old. What are you running for lights?

Time can definitely be a factor but younger tanks have pulled off BTAs before. Many places state that they only need moderate lighting but I've noticed mine doing best when getting 300+ PAR

What are you feeding the bta’s? What temp do you run your tank at?

post your parameters to, may help answer your question. And a photo

Anemones do not do well in new tanks, especially when set up with dry rock. They like nitrates in the water. It is a food source for them. What are your parameters?

They were high nitrates and high phosphate just recently I dropped them down to 0.04 phosphate

Anemones thrive in high nitrates. I aim keep mine at 25, but they do great at 120 as well. If your levels are less than 10 I suggest you increase them. Do you have a photo of them?

Yes I’ll post some when I get home tomorrow I don’t really trust my NYOS test to tell me nitrate but I haven’t done a water change in 3 months and heavy feed so
