Can you put a BTA in a tank with peppermint shrimp? I just bought a small rose BTA and when I placed him near the rock a peppermint shrimp came out and seemed to attack him. I moved the BTA to the other side of the tank.

Shouldnt be an issue my shrimps try to steal food from my nems.

Hit and miss, some reported the pep ate LPS, others nothing.
I had a pep which bothered my RBTA so much, it shrunk too nothing.
Maybe just cleaning the new arrival.

If it becomes an issue put the shrimp in your sump.

I have several of each and have never had an issue. Now peppermints might pick on some LPS, like hammers, walls, elegance, etc.
