I have a 32g Biocube with a BTA. My clownfish has bonded to him and doing well.

This past week he has seemed much happier and active. Today I was doing a cleaning and water change and noticed that the powerhead (Nero 3) had died. Now I'm wondering if I had too much flow because to be honest he has never looked.

Is this just a coincidence?

Any recommendations on a new PH. I really have had nothing but issues with the nero.

Other inhabitants:
Goby
Peppermint shrimp
1 other fish I can't recall the name of
1 hammer
2 rock flower anemones

Values all stable. Tank is about 11 months old

Thanks for any advice

Is there a nem issue or just the powerhead? I use jebao, cheap and reliable.

Sorry for the confusion. The Nero 3 powerhead died. No livestock issues. The BTA is doing great.

My question is could I have had too much flow and that is why he is looking so much more happy? How much flow should I have to keep him happy? I had the Nero 3 on the back by the return about midway down pointing forward.
