Mine eat fish food... Pellets, flakes, frozen, whatever.

I feed shrimp, but it also gets some of my diy food I feed the fish.

They are also photosynthetic so don't necessarily need to be fed.

I find when I don’t feed it, it tends to reach way out and gets really big searching the column for whatever it finds.

Yes, I do think they need supplemental food (i.e. aside from photosynthesis), but I don't usually feed anything specific to my nems and rarely if ever target feed.
