Bubble tip care vs Color

Thought I had...

I am planning on getting a BTA, never had one before(though have had SW tanks before, I am not a total noob)
Do the different colors have different needs? one easier to keep then others?

They need light and plenty of it. They also require the powerheads to be covered. They love nothing more than a walkabout and sticking their sticky parts into a powerhead.

I think the greens have been the hardest for me. Had one go from basketball size too nothing over time while my rainbows are happy...kinda frustrating.

As far as protection, there's a few different methods depending on your powerheads but the sharpest looking IMO are the cages they make on the MPs.

More colors means more $ most the time.
