Last week I purchased a BTA from my lfs hoping it would host my 2 percula clowns. I placed it in my 90 gallon tank and within a half hour it moved itself to a decent spot near the top of the tank. After 2 days it decided it was unhappy and moved again. This time it moved to the very bottom of the tank towards the back. I can hardly see it now. Is this typical behavior? Is there anything I can do to entice it to come out. The spot it chose is near impossible for me to reach with taking apart my entire aquascape. Thanks in advance for any advice and suggestions.

They will move to the spot they are happy with, you could move it but odds are it will move again and maybe back to the same spot it is now. I have never been able to direct one where "I" would like it to go, it's a battle I have lost time and time again.

Unfortunately with anemones they're going to go wherever they're happiest. You can try getting it to move by blasting it with a powerhead or using a frozen water bottle to get it to move. But if its happy where it's at, once you move it it may just wander back to that same spot.

How much light is it getting? I have had that happen before too, but since it wasn’t getting enough light it eventually moved back out into another place that had more light. This took several weeks though.
