So 3 weeks ago purchased a large one and tried to get him to attach but his foot wasn't sticky from the store and never was ready to attach on acclimation day. Since then he floated into a back corner on the substrate under some rocks and STILL the foot isn't attached. He's simply drifted into a wedge. Barely getting any daytime light. And plus I can't reach him without destroying my rockscape. Ideas?

Some times you have to fish them out, kill all flow and place in a crack of your scape. If it still won't attach its probably a sick nem and you need to use cipro treatment if its not too far gone..

I would find it and grab it. With it hiding or missing it could nuke your tank if it dies depending on the size of tank and filtration.

but if it attached to the rock where you can’t reach and looks good then leave it alone. You can point a powerhead at it to make it move. Assuming it’s healthy only. Don’t do that to a sick/gaping mouth anemone.

If it's not attached, it shouldn't be that hard to get it out.... aim a powerhead to blow it out, or if you can't get flow behind it, how about trying to gently suction it out with a siphon tube. Or just pull it out with a fish net, or the net handle. (GENTLY)
