It's funny, I've had a mixed reef 260 established for almost 20 years, and any bta I put in do great but never split. I have one that is almost a foot across that I feed 2-3 times a week and still nothing.Splitting is the sole reason I will not put another in my tank. 1 quickly became 6.

The tank they were in previously had just a little natural light and very little flow. So yeah once they tasted some good flow and light it was like instantaneousSplitting is also a stress response. Your tank looks fairly established, so I would assume they are just happy and well fed.
