How old is the tank? judging by the rock in the picture, its a pretty new tank. Generally you don't want to add an anemone until a tank has matured (6 months plus) I shoot for a year.

Your tank looks really new. How old is it, what light are you using and what are your params?
Not sure if that is just a light green BTA or a bleached one.

Tank is about a month old, when I bought it the lady said it was fine,

Temp is 80
Ammonia 0.5
Spec Gravity 1.024
Nitrate 20
Nitrite 2.0
Alkalinity 300
Ph 7.8

Local fish store. Like they said ammonia should be zero, if i am finding the righ specs for those lights, they most likely wont grow coral let alone an anenome

Well right now my tank size is 20 gallons and its a hexagonal tank, I do want a bigger tank for sure

So is my bubble tip dead? Or what is wrong with him?

The BTA will more than likely die if you don't take it back. That light isn't meant to sustain corals or anemones, your parameters are showing your cycle isnt done yet. Take it back for credit.

Sorry- local fish store. They are not looking out for you and your tank if they are convincing you something is ok just to sell you something. A conscientious store would rather you be successful long term than sell you something when your tank is not ready for it.
