I have 2 tanks, a 20 long and a 65 gallon. I have one clown in each tank. I want to try a bubble tip in both tanks. I'm just making sure my lights are ok. In my 65, I have 4 39 watt t5ho bulbs. All my corals seem happy. Will a bubble tip be OK? And in my 20 long which is a fowlr tank I want to update my lighting. I found a 2 bulb 48 watt t5ho light or a 4 bulb 96 watt t5ho light. Can I use the 2 bulb set up? Thanks guys and gals!!!

I think it should be fine in any tank. The two bulb is probably enough

Try them. If they move high up and stretch out for more light, you need more light. Just be prepared to move them or upgrade lighting as needed.

My RBTAs do not seem to want the brighter light my tank offers. I have one right at sand level, and the highest up is slightly higher than the light range I keep my Candy Canes.

I hope that helps!

(like rayn says, if they go to the top and stretch out, they probably need more light)

How's it look???

Only been in my tank for 2 hours. It moved from the little Rock to the right which in came on to over where u see it. Does anyone know what kind of bubble tip this is?

Ok, it's been hiding but seem to come out, but on the wrong side of the tank!!! I managed to turn the rock around towards the viewing area and snapped a pic. Can anyone tell me if he look good?

It looks fine to me. Mine rarely go where I want them to...

It might be a good idea to spot feed it some mysis a couple times this week. It will likely start feeling a lot better once it knows it can get food readily...
