Bubble tip split but not what I expected

My RBTA started splitting yesterday. There was a large hole in the middle of the anemone and I could see right down to the rock beneath it. Upon checking tonight it seems that there is one fairly large anemone (seemingly half the original which makes sense), and then another group of two or three much smaller pieces (Do to its location it is difficult to tell, it is at least 2 smaller pieces) Has anyone had their BTA split this way with more than just two halves? Pretty wild since I certainly didn’t think this was possible, never mind seeing it in my tank. This hobby continues to perplex and amaze me.

Never had a RBTA, but I've seen mushrooms split like this into three. Looked like it was dying from the middle and then the next day there were three.

Yep, happened to me! My black widow split into fourths!

Run that bad boy through a wavemaker and you're likely to get many babies.
