Bubble tip split question?!?

Ive been keeping bta's for a little over a year now. My largest one split in the middle of the night. But it split into 3. The original was about 7 inches when fully out under peak lights. This is my first bta that has split. Nothing with the water has changed. I read it could be from stress. ?!?! Im hoping for the best. All look in great shape. But lights still out. Cant wait to see what they do with lights on.

Mine split in three sold one back to fish store and been in a battle with the other one keeps moving where I don't want it lol all three fully healthy

Ok, thanks guys. Only 1 so far has moved out to the light. The other 2 hiding. May need to heal before coming out. Huh?

They can split from either stress (( in the "hopes" that the splits finds better conditions )), or because conditions are so good that they have the extra energy to split.
Has anything (( however minor )) changed with your tank?

I really dont think anything has changed. I do 10% water changes weekly up to 10 days and this did not happen after a water change. The nem was in the same spot for weeks and took off ro the back in the dark, then split into 3. So far 2 are out and look normal. The 3rd is still back in the dark.

I dont know if its stress, but my anemones is only 4" and split into 2?? very tiny anemones and they dont seem to be as happy as the big one

I had one, since it has split into 12 lol. I don't know what to do bc most are on rocks I can't take out....... eating up a lot of real estate

Any suggestions?

Mine spilt into 7 over the years. 2 ways to move them I've found. You can take an ice cube and hold against their foot and they'll eventually let go and you can remove them. That or take a small powerhead and point at them and they'll move away from the aggravation. That's if you just want to persuade them to a new spot.
