Hard to tell but it looks like that mouth is gaping pretty wide! Is he eating?

I would stop with the silversides; First too big for an E. quadricolor, their natural diet is a lot smaller. Second, several experienced anemone keepers (( myself included )) have lost otherwise healthy anemones to their use.

I would use either PE mysis, or krill.

However, to cover everything (( and to try to figure out why it isn't on/in the rocks ));
What size tank?
What lights?
How long have you had the anemone?
How long has your tank been set up?
Current water parameters, with numbers please.

What size tank? 120g/ 50 sumpg
What lights? 6-t5 2-vho
How long have you had the anemone? about 6 months
How long has your tank been set up? 1 1/2 years
Current water parameters, with numbers please.
phos .03 /temp 77.5/nitrate5.0(i think cause of new skimmer still breaking in) salinity 1.027

Are you using RO/DI water? If so, what is the TDS?

So far, the numbers look decent, so I would be leaning towards the silversides.

By "carpet" do you mean S. haddoni or S. gigantea? If so, I wouldn't take a chance on feeding either one of those a silverside. All of my anemones (( E. quadricolor, M. doreensis, and S. haddoni )) do just fine with krill, that is when I actually feed them, has been about a year.

yes on Ro/Di ,tds on 2 different meters are 0..

S. haddon.even my condy never looked like that but never gave silverside to it

How often do you fed?
can i feed regular shrimp

S. haddoni are sandbed dwelling anemones -- do you have a picture of yours?
Do you have a sandbed?

I moved to a new place just under 2 years ago, since that move I have fed my anemones mabye 5 times. Prior to that I did it every other week. Other than slower growth, I haven't noticed any ill effects -- though I might try feeding them again, so see if I notice anything.
