I've seen many BTA's w/ nice fat tips under many different LED's but can't say I've seen any under Kessil's... Curious as that's what I run and my green BTA never bubbles. Anyone have bubbles under their Kessils? Not looking to start a spectrum or lighting debate, just curious?

bubbled bubble tips is not dependent on lighting. No one knows why some bubble up and others don't and why some sometimes bubble and sometimes don't. Anyone who says this or that is the reason is speculating. I know of side by side identical tanks on the same return line with all clones of the same bubble tip. One tank bubbles up the other tank doesn't.
I've seen bubble tips bubbled under Kessils.

Yeah, all speculative I know. I'm sure it's a combination of all things and the general mood of the Nem. Mines happy, homed and hosting so I don't mess with him. Just don't recall seeing bubbles under Kessils and wondered...

Not flow.

Only thing that makes sense is they are hungry and reaching trying to catch food, when not hungry they bubble. But that doesn't always seem to hold true either.

Go to any lfs. They have these bubble tips with huge bubbles in little to no flow tanks. And definitely no powerheads. I did a simple test. I dont feed mine and thats the constant. If i put one in my fuge with little flow it bubbles
When i toom the same nem and rock and put it in my dt it went long and flat.

I have kessils on my 210 display tank. Had a rose bubble tip that has now split 5 times and doing great. But the tips are more long and stringy than bubbled. About 6 months ago I got another RBT from a friend dismantling her tank. It's in the same display and has had bubbled tips since the day it was put in. I'm not sure why. I don't target feed. Have a pair of clowns that at any point can be found in any one of three anemones. Including the one that is bubbled. Running a gyre 250 on it so wouldn't consider it low flow or super high flow but the tank is relatively consistent based on the location of the anemones and flow.
