I'm not too sure what's wrong. Standard three baffle trap. Spaced about an inch and a half apart. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I just installed a reef octopus 150int. It sits in the middle chamber of a three chamber sump. Three baffles separate the return from the skimmer section

Is this just a replacement skimmer or is your entire setup new?

It's a new system, but the skimmer was used. The bubbles are almost gone already. Not too sure what was causing the bubbles

Is your skimmer outlet as far as possible from the 3 baffle return? Micro bubbles at start up are common sometimes. I run course black sponges on my sumps before return chamber. They really don't get clogged like people think, plus it keeps the pump intake free of any small shelled organisms. I also think there is a biological aspect to the sponge. When I do clean it, 1/month during WC, it is full of pods!

I'll point the outlet in the other direction and see if it helps

Could be too much flow through the sump. Try measuring the flow at the return or drain and see what your actual GPH is.
