Sorry for the late reply. I guess I missed this. I would go with the Supermarin 200 or Double Cone 250. The Supermarin 250 would be too large for your tank in my experience. I run the SM250 on my 500 gallon display (700 gallon volume) and have over 70 fish in it and it’s about perfect for my system. I think the SM250 would starve and be inconsistent in a system with a 225 display unless you ran it really wet.Another great alternative would be a Deluxe 200.. The Deluxe skimmers are my favorites but they are more money and take up a bit more space due to the drain setup. They have a bit more tuning capabilities due to the combination of the telescope tube and wedge pipe and will dry skim as well as they will wet skim where as the Supermarins are best for a wetter skim.

My total volume is actualy 265 gallon, would the deluxe 200 be a little too much? Would the double cone 200 work, I'd like for it to b e a little more oversized for the system.
