bubbles from my sand bed

should i be concerned by the bubbles coming from my sand bed ? 39 gal nano w/ 3.5 ' of live sand new tank 20 # live rock got some brown alge starting to form as well i figured its all part of the begining cycle. all leveles are low to none. the tank has only been up 10 days or so. wada ya think?

IMO, no... bubbles are either trapped air, or better yet nitrogen gas escaping.

I believe it's methane gas produced from anaerobic digestion of organics by bacteria in your sand bed.
