I have a question for everyone and anyone.
Do Bubbletip anemones incubate and coexist with ich and velvet?
I have an IM 10 gallon cube I’ve been working hard to create as a BTA tank.
But each time I put in a pair of clownfish and another small fish or two:
The clownfish go right away to hosting and playing in the anemone. But repeatedly after 2-3 days they kind of lose their color and look dull, decreased interest in food and stop playing in the anemone. It’s a Rose bubbletip black widow.
Then they die typically 3-5 days after introduced to the tank. The last time I did this, the tank had been fishless. A few corals, a few rock flowers, some snails, hermits, peppermint shrimp and an emerald crab plus the BTA.
The tank was without any fish inhabitants for about 3 months or more.
But just tried again, same result.
So I’m wondering if the organism that is killing the fish - Velvet (my most likely suspect), ich or whatever is commensalism with the anemone and everything or anything in that tank.
How do I resolve this?
Is Mardel Coppersafe really reef safe with the BTA and corals in the tank, and other inhabitants?
I could really appreciate some input and recommendations here, and why.
This is one of 9 tanks I’m running.
Please give me some friendly feedback and advice.

Reef safe copper? Never heard that before. I don't think reef safe copper exists. Velvet needs a host and would have died out in those 3 months, but the fish could have easily brought it with them.
