After I feed my fish some PE Mysis and Formula One, both thawed out in a little RO water over time, the tank gets pretty bubbly for quite awhile.

What's going on and how do I avoid it?

Oils in the foods stay on the water surface and when the water is agitated make a 'stronger' bubble. It's nothing to worry about.

yea- try feeding fish eggs LOL
My skimmer overflowed after 10 minutes (usually emptied once a week)
Its normal. If you want to eliminate that (which there really is no need to) rinse off the food better.
Instead of thawing in RODI and feeding...thaw it out, dump liquid, put more RODI in there and swish. Discard excess liquid then feed.

Seems like some extra rinsing will do the trick. Like you all said it's nothing really to worry about but when I have people over it's nice to not have all the bubbles and film. In the end, normal feeding, just staying the same.... but when I have an audience, I'm letting it thaw slower and rinsing it off to limit the effect. Thanks!
