Buckeye RODI leaking...

Replaced my rodi membrane and now the cap is leaking and squirting now matter how tight I try to make it. I opened it again and dried it up, that helped a bit buts it's still leaking. This the second time I've opened it in the 2 yrs I've had it. Any tips?

try looking at the seal. Your seal maybe bad or not seated correctly

=Assure the membrane is in the right direction not causing back-pressure
=Check lines to assure theyre pushed in all the way

Jeeze. Wanted to check all these things but now I cant get the cap off. Looks like I tightened it too much. Any ideas for loosening it? Hot water maybe?

I'd guess the gasket isn't seated correctly, they make wrenchs to open them but a strap wrench can work in a pinch.
