Is that just based off of what places like liveaquaria recommend? Large bioload? Aggressiveness? Just wondering...
Only reason Im asking is because these fish more or less graze, and aren't extremely active swimmers like, say, tangs. In terms of bioload, I will be running a skimmer rated for 3 times the volume. I do hear what you're saying about nipping corals, but I hear if you keep the tank fed properly, it's much less of a concern...

If your not worried about it nipping, I would put one in the 40. Just my opinion.

From others also, but I have heard if you keep them well fed it may not be a problem also. Personally i'm too paranoid to try one. lol Be interesting to see how it works out for you. =)

Light stand according to UPS tracking will be here today, and my light according to FedEx tracking has cleared customs and will be here tomorrow... Very excited to get this tank set up. Thanks for following along!

Everything has arrived, and will be picking up the tank and stand Sunday. Need to start picking some brains here... This TaoTronics light has separate white/blues and is dimmable. What should I start at for mounting height above this tank? And also, set aside from aesthetic, what should I keep the intensity of the whites and blues at?
