I decided to tear my tank down after losing a battle with a bobbit worm and nuisance algae. Let ally rocks soak in hydrogen peroxide for about a week and dried in the sun for two days. After the tank was drained totally cleaned with vinegar and built a diy 20gh sump upgraded my powerheads and got an inkbird for temp control. Rodi filter used instead of tap which was a totally worth the investment. Bought fiji pink live sand and bottle bacteria. Finnished setup in three days. Waited another three days after adding 8oz of the bacteria and then added what corals I had saved from the previous setup. Bought two new coral and two banggai cardinals. Four days (after adding new fish corals) later everything is thriving and params are to my liking.
Day.1 (cables have been organized since then)
Day.7/8
All mushrooms looking better than before except the orange one he's never looked good since I got him
Added some phytoplankton and zooplankton for the corals and pods
Current params:
Cal-490ppm
Kh-9.3
Ph-8.0
Sal-1.025
Mag-1470
Ammonia-0
Nitrate-3ppm
Nitrite-0
