Budget light for FOWLR

Hi everyone,

I'm setting up my first SW tank, and looking at lighting options. I really like the look of LEDs, plus the energy efficiency and low maintenance (no bulb changes). I know lighting really doesn't matter for FOWLR, but hoping for some suggestions. For example, found this deal for $80 on Amazon:

Any experience with this model or anything similar to recommend?

Never used that one. No use an ocean revive T247B and love it. A little bit more pricey though.

Thanks for the recommendation. A little more then I was looking to spend considering I don't have any plans to pursue corals, but I'll definitely keep it in mind. Way more reasonable then some others I've come across.

Well I ordered the Marineland light - then promptly cancelled when I realized it can't be used over open water, which I hope to do.

I was almost just ready to splurge and order the T247B @suffutt suggested, but realized with its length it likely wouldn't fit without hanging, which I have a wood canopy/top I'm using and am looking to use stands to support the light over the water. Hoping then to enclose the wood cover to protect from any jumpers. Am I right that the stand for this won't reach over a 48" tank?

So I think back to square one. Looking for a light, preferably LED, to use over open water that is pretty low profile, can be supported by a stand for FOWLR. Any tips?

Does anyone have any experience with these? Water resistant, expandable... seems like a great deal at <$80 for the 12,000k 48" version on Amazon.

The power supply for the strip lights is sold separately bring the total up to a little over $100. For about $80 more they also have these?

Not sure if it's worth the extra money, or if anyone has any experience with this company one way or the other.
