I have a very similar setup like yours. I have a 75g with a 30g sump. I currently use a Jebao DCT return pump. It has been reliable and great for the price. It is a type of DC pump which means you can control the flow to whatever you prefer.

+1 jebao/jecod

The dcp3000 i have has been running reliably for years with minimal cleaning.
Maybe opt for the 5000 based on your tank size and needs.

Eheim 1260/1262 for their reliability. They just run forever.

+1 on jebao return pump.
Dont buy their new ones. I would suggest the DCP or DCT version.
I have DCP3000 for my 40B

iirc, the dct is their 2020 black sine wave model still. You can adjust it a lot more than the dcs/dcp.

Dcs/dcp are the original models they still sell for 2020 with the grey body and controllers. Only have about 8-10 speed settings.

I havent encountered any issues with the dct yet.
Not sure which "new" ones you dont recommend...

Edit: im wrong actually, i have my models backwards lol. Dcp is sinewave and all black. I hate trying to decypher the different models. Seems like they come out with something different often :)

The DCQ one. Or the wifi version.
Heard more problems on them.
Fortunately, my DCP is working fine. I even got the apex link to control it via apex

Yea I have mine hooked up to a kasa outlet for remote on/off function for my feed macro/scene.
The % is locked in and doesnt get adjusted so this works fine for me :)
