My frogsoawn has slowly deteriorated.

I took it out today and put it in revive I saw a red bug and possibly a small black ones I don’t see any on my SPS or other LPS .

Here’s a video of it that I captured very tiny.

Dip all my corals in Bauer. Anyone have an idea if this is bad or not ? I’m like it might be due to my coral being infected and deteriorating .

May want to revisit your dipping process as something must have gotten through. Check out this video by Mike Herman (SB Reeflights) it's the most thorough one I've seen. He explains everything.

Thanks . What do I do now ? Do you know what kind of bug that is ?

Kinda hard to tell from the video, but your description sounds like red bugs. Might need to re-dip your corals. Do you have a bucket or a QT for them to sit over night after dipping? You don't want any of the Bayer getting into your DT. It could do bad things to any inverts in the DT. So letting them soak in a QT after the dip for a day or two would be a good thing.

Thanks for the guidance. I don’t see any on any other corals. I looked up and down all lps and sps. I don’t see it reasonable to remove all corals ATM.

I’ll keep an eye and I would prob go the route of getting medicine from a vet it’s a new name that look over interceptor medication.

I got 13 newer sps sticks and I’m letting them grow.

I had these little black bugs infesting the lower skeletal tissue on a couple wall hammers in QT. Unfortunately the corals didn’t survive. I noticed one of my torch’s acting up and found some under their skeletal tissue as well. Worried I may have a full blown infestation I Ended up hitting the QT tank with some Dr. G’s That I use for red bugs and haven’t seen them since. It took a couple doses but they eventually were eliminated. I did lose a couple crabs, snails and my pods took a hit in the process but nothing major. Corals all did fine.

I seen more black bugs then red. I do like Dr. G's products. What product line did you use to treat your tank?

I used the Dr G's SPS and LPS dip solution. It does say not to add directly to tank but I did in my QT and only lost a few crabs and snails .

Hard to tell what it is. Just because there are some little critters on a coral does not mean their are pest.
There are so many thing that get into a reef. I mean it could be a little harmless copepod.
Doesn't mean it aint a pest either but so many people freak out over little things.
This could be a lighting issue, a water perimeter issue, a flow issue.
Dipping a stressed coral could finish it off but if it is a pest not dipping it could kill it too.

I would never add that to my tank ;)

I hope this is true. I don’t see anything on my sps. I hope they are harmless
