Hi Everyone -

It looks like I have some bug activity lately. I think I have a bloom of some kind. I am in need of help identifying the good/bad and course of action.

I think this is a baby snail and... something alien

The bug on the right is a munnid isopod. Great critter to have. They also make great snacks for your fish :)

the first picture on the left looks like a stomatella snail, which i have in my clean up crew. have you recently gotten algae or corals from anyone without dipping?

I initially thought these were sponges. But I think they are eggs of some kind.

Any thoughts?

Acoel- they are more of a nuisance than danger. There generally isn't just one. Siphon them as you see them Unless they become large in number. As a safeguard, you can add a sis lined wrasse, melanurus or lunare wrasse (lunare being smallest of the two). If you can find one, blue velvet nudibranch is excellent.
Last resort - Flatworm stop

I did about four months ago. Most likely I introduced them from that purchase. Nothing has been noticeable until recently.

the best part of having a glass box to look at them is that we can watch all the time :) keep an eye out but i like having stomatellas in the tank. some people get certain wrasses and they will certainly kill every single one of those with time. probably like a six line wrasse or similar
