I briefly considered that stand but OMG the price. lol Nice looking though! That's for sure.
So what did you decide to do? Or would you like to keep it under wraps for now?
I'm continuing down the same path as before....just changed the stand.

Oh gotcha....I did the absolute stand, powder coated gloss black, with black wedge wood. Should be stunning....if it ever arrives. =)

ohhhh... your post said you were NOT upgrading to the Absolute stand. I bet that was supposed to be NOW upgrading.
Well I can't wait to see it. They are gorgeous, especially that wedge wood.

I left the tank in my warehouse and brought the stand home to begin assembly. The absolute-line stand is comprised of powder coated metal (I opted for black) that, apparently, comes in several pieces...not welded together like I thought it would.
Some of the pieces:
Side piece:
Exterior panels:
Adjustable legs:
Beginning assembly. The stainless hardware is inserted through a larger hole (with supplied allen key), into the frame, to bolt the pieces together:

From Italy with love:
If all else fails....line up the marks!!
Done!
