Building my first reef tank with my 12 year old grandson. Planning for success which may mean a long build and cycle. Goal is LPS mainly, but will look like a FOWLR while I get comfortable with feeding and managing nutrient export.
Tank: Used 120 4x2x2 plumbed with a 3 drain Synergy Reef Overflow and two returns. Stand with 10" canopy. Plumbing was flawless.
Shout out to BRSTV & BRS store and UPS
Ordered three Marco Rock products. Large foundation, shelf scape 50, and 60 dry. Couldn't be happier with the selections and arrival condition.
Trigger ruby sump 36. It's A monster.
Redundant return pumps and heaters.
Lots to do. Next delivery will be Simplicity 240D and Reefi labs Uno Pro 2 lights.
