Ya my sps are suffering. Lol. Low nutrients and i spiked the alk. Its subsided but the effects on the corals is still happening. :/

Its hard to believe my rock was completly dry. I used no bottled bacteria. No starter or booster.
No coralline additive. Only 1 seed rock and seachem purple alk bottle. 18.5floz. Now im using brs soda ash i mix 1gal rodi with. Lol.
Its mostly light. Flow. And what came in on my corals probably.

Turns out i think i will get to use my stirrer. I had to order a 5mm magnetic stirrer bar but should work.
Alk 13.1
Cal 380

No bueno. I dosed 4 inside caps of aquavitro calcification. Try and get it back to 420ish.
My alk ill let drop back to 10 or 11.
Hopefully ill be able to maintain it their now. Lol.
Btw i had an old alk and cal test. Lol. Still good according to the exp stamp on the tops. Lol

Gonna do another 2 caps of the calcium and let the alk keep dropping a little more.

Super glued a magnet to the other side of this one power bar. Snapped a quick pic of my label making work. Lol. O ya.

I went to show off my ats but my dang protein skimmer seems to be kickin butt tonight. Lol.

Someone asked where my nutrients come from and ive been thinking about it. So i turned the timer back on for the ats. Now not full time. Nutrients coming from my sock. My feedings. The decay in the overflow. The small bits trapped in what little sand is in the tank. Poo and pee from fish.
Upping my nutrients and lowering my alk back down steadily should have me ready for the farmer coral market coming up.

My lid for.my ato is made from stryofoam. Lol. Its what i have at the moment.
Next up. Id like to take my.light down..clean it. Oil the reflectors. Get the light bar painted and all back together.
Id like to paint the wood the tank sits on i think the same blue as the wall.

Than ill hopefully get my downpipe and sock silencer. New skins made by a wood worker and finally my cal rx. Lol.

My cal rx will take up 3 plug.ins. ill need to sort that out. Lol.
Still need calibration regences and the american pin point probe. Think ill try and calibrate the milwaukee reader i have with that.
